I am in love with my new chi. It is the best oif the best, Straightens my hair in half the time and thanks to you Amazon I got my Chi before the waiting period that I was told. I was happy with the whole process and wil;l be ordering again from Amazon.

Faulty Condition
We purchased the Farouk Chi 1 Inch Ceramic Iron. It came in packaging that appeared to have been opened which was surprising since the listing said it was new.

The iron itself works but for a glitch I've never experienced with other Farouk CHI's. I have to hold it upside down to make it hot. If I set it flat on a countertop it immediately gets cold again.

Tried to contact the seller w/ no success, hopefully this review will promote a contact.

Very convenient and works well :)
The best part about the iron is that it feels so smooth and its smaller plates make it convenient to iron the small lengths.

It doesn't disappoint
The iron does a beautiful, professional-level job of straightening hair in very little time. The first iron gave out after 18-months, but it does such a great job, I ordered another one without a moment's hesitation.

Only minor annoyances
My hair usually fights flat irons to stay curly, but it's no match for this iron. I love the fact that I can go over my hair one time and it's pretty much done! It's also freakin' awesome that you can use this iron to curl your hair as well... and it DOES curl. It also gets hot fast so you don't have to wait 10-15 minutes for maximum heat from the iron. It's ready in 2 mins! Also, the cord is super long and sturdy. The only complaint I have is that I have to squeeze the iron together really hard. It's not too bad and totally worth the quality of iron, but I would think that it would be easier to clamp. Other than that, this iron is amazing!!!
