Can't keep it full on the move
This is a fine product for treating water, I'm sure. I've only used it once and didn't get sick.

The only real problem I have with it is that the bottle leaks if stored full in a pack. The website recommends (and it seems to make perfect sense) that you fill the bottle after every use, so the solution is pre-prepared for the next time you need it. I ended up with a backpack full of iodine stained clothes. And, yes, I'm 99.9% sure I screwed the cap on correctly. After seeing the horror show that was the inside of my pack, the first thing I did was grab the bottle. I inspected it before I opened it- the cap was on tight, and I had to apply the downward pressure to unscrew it, yet the contents of the bottle were not at all where they were supposed to be.

So- if you don't keep it full, and this is your primary means of water treatment, you'll have to fill the Polar Pure bottle, wait an hour for the bottle solution to be ready, treat the water, wait another 20 min, and then take a drink. Long time from thirsty to first sip.

I think, perhaps, this is best kept in a home earthquake/emergency kit, because (for its size and weight) I am impressed with the amount of water it can treat.

Polar pure rocks in Arkansas
Living in Arkansas all my life, Outdoors expeditions are a natural part of life here. One of the main things I hated camping, canoeing or caving is carrying enough water for me and Yes, My Wolf. When I was young we use to drink directly out of the White River with no ill effects then Chicken Farms down south put an end to that. You can see the film of filth formed on the top layer of the River that was never there until the 80s. Recently we had found a fantastic artifact cave with a rusty old pipe and clean looking running water going through the pipe. It was so great to have the polar pure and be able to dip my water jug in treat it with polar pure then leave it sit in the cold stream to keep cool so after a few hours of digging in the hot sun I knew I had clean cool water for me and my girl. There is a slight taste after taste but I found adding a piece of lemon or orange totally covered any unnatural tastes we found. With Man destroying nature at an unbelievable rate, I became concerned with my wolf even drinking from the lakes or streams around here. It took a while but now I have her where she will wait until I tell her safe water and drink from the bottle instead of the body of water which has caused her diareaha and even skin allergies swimming in it at certain times. Even my house water, when the lake levels change drastically has a nasty taste and odor despite everything going through my refriderator filter, I have started using Polar Pure in almost all my home water during those times when it starts smelling. This product has been a lifesaver for me and my critters and hope they keep having the success they deserve so it stays around for a long time. I've not found another product that lasts as long, easier and more compact to use and has so far kept us healthy despite the source of water used.
I recently found a bottle that was over 8 years old) and besides sticking to the bottom of bottle and clumping a little, had no problem splitting it up to put some back for tomorrows excavation and using it to treat my home water today when the lake level just changed again and overnight water started tasting bad....

easy to use
I bought this form of water treatment right before I left to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail, as recommended by a previous thru-hiker. This thing is great. Keep it filled at all times, and you are 20 minutes away from treated water in your own water bottle at all times. And the best thing is - it lasts forever. Definitely the most cost effective way to treat water for a long time, even consecutively.

Note: there is a slight taste and slight coloring to the water - I often added one of those single serve drink mixes while on the trail, which took care of that completely (though I happily would drink the water as is...I just got bored of only water for months on end!)

Would definitely recommend this to any hiker, especially long distance hikers looking for a lightweight, reliable, and cost effective solution.

Polar Pure Water Disinfectant review:

Used this product on a 5-day backpacking trip and didn't get sick. Seems to work as described.

It does leave the water tasting like iodine, but I found that after about a day I didn't even notice it.

The temperature-indicating dot is very faint green, but if you turn the bottle just right you can see it and get the correct dose.

One complaint: the bottle states that "To destroy Giardia cysts, the water must be 20°C (68°F) minimum". So... if you're taking your drinking water from cold mountain streams or lakes (or just about any natural source that's not a hot spring) you'll have to fire up the stove each time you want to refill your bottles. It would be nice if this information was in the Amazon product description.

Great keyboard
I just started learning the piano, so I purchased this because it was fairly priced and I can practice in my room in silence at night time without disturbing anyone.

I would definitely, DEFINITELY Recommend this to other people.

I love the 3 step learning system plus it even has 100 built-in songs, either for playback or for playing along and learning. The display is nice too because it shows you which fingers you should be using....very cool!

The keyboard is really nice. I have been playing it for a week now. Easy to learn. I think it might be hard to use for younger kids. Song list is amazing. Havent used the stand yet but the headphone work great. I know people have been having problems with the headphones, and they do look poorly made but they havent broke on me yet...im sure with one drop though they will. It was worth the buy.

Yamaha keyboard with Extras?
The keyboard is very nice. I purchased all as a bundle thinking this was all Yamaha Equipment. Don't be fooled like me! If you want good Yamaha Equipment, purchase it separatly. The stand is cockeyed and headphones are cheezy. The power supply is made by world tour. I'm not saying their bad except Yamaha specifies to use Yamaha Power Supply only so what am I doing with this?
My suggestion is to purchase all items separately or make sure it is spelled out in black in white.
I have had pretty good luck with Amazon though. I have only had one bad experience and understand this can happen. We are people.

About 4/5 of an EZ250i

The model numbers fairly reflect the capability of the instruments 200 is 4/5 of 250 and the EZ200 is 4/5 or 80% of the EZ250i. The soundsets are similar but not identical. They both have lighted 61 note keyboards with velocity sensitivity. The 250i has better speakers, a music stand, and a backlit LCD. There is no stand on the ez200, and the lcd is not backlit. The EZ-250i can split and layer the keyboard. The EZ-200 can split only. The EZ200, though a later product, has the older-style (traditional) midi jacks. The ez250i has USB midi. Which is better depends upon what you want to do with it. For direct computer hookup, USB is better. To hook up to other musical instruments, traditional midi jacks rule. The USB input and some on-board flash memory allow the EZ250i to import general midi files. The EZ-200 does not have the same functionality. The EZ-250i shipped with a game called Keyboard Mania that was similar to Guitar Hero, but came out several years before GH. The EZ200 has no game, but it does have some newer songs preloaded, like Daniel Powder's "Bad Day".

Although there was some overlap, the EZ200 basically replaced the EZ250i in Yamaha's line-up. It's a shame because the EZ-250i was/is a more full-featured keyboard. It seems that Yamaha is getting away from lighted instruments. It's a shame because the lights add a lot of enjoyment and some educational value to the product.

Great keyboard and learning system but lousy stand
I read many reviews of this keyboard before I purchased it, both good and bad, and I agree with a number of the comments others have made -- I love the keyboard, hate the stand.

First, I love this keyboard and the teaching system. I have found the multiple teaching methods to be very handy and clever. You have the option of learning by following along with a demonstration while the keys light up, or you can just sit and watch and learn, or you can practice tapping out the rhythm on any key just to get the pacing right, or you can use the "wait" method, where the keys light up and the song plays along with you, but if you stop or get the wrong key, the system waits for you, holds the song at that point, lights up the correct key(s) to hit, and does not proceed until you get it right, then continues. I like that you can turn off the demonstration at any point, and you can turn off the lighted keys if you like and just play the instrument like a regular piano.

You can also learn by following the diagram of the two hands in a window just above the keys, which shows which fingers on both hands are used to play each note. If you are a slower learner and prefer to learn one hand at a time, you can program the instruction to mute the left or right hand so you can concentrate on just one.

You can also learn by looking at the staves that picture each note and where it appears on the lines or spaces, which is great if you do not read music yet and have no idea how the black and white piano keys relate to the notes on the page.

I love the feature that allows you to set the tempo, and I have learned many a difficult passage by slowing down that particular section, then using the repeat feature to automatically run through that part over and over until I tell it to stop, then returning to the next section, at either the normal tempo or continuing in a slower tempo. I love the feature that allows you to have chords automatically accompany you using just one finger of the left hand while you focus on learning the right hand melody, OR, if you want to play the keyboard like a regular piano, you can turn off the auto-accompaniment and play the full chords yourself.

There are hundreds of voices and styles and tunes to choose from, and the instruction booklet that comes with the keyboard teaches you how to use all those features. One of the most amazing aspects is how the voice called "Grand Piano" makes your electric keyboard sound like just that -- like having a baby grand in the living room. Or you can make yourself sound like a church organ or violins or brass or woodwinds and on and on. You can add drumbeats and other backgrounds in absolutely any musical style you can think of. A legend printed above the keys offers numerous short-cut suggestions for choosing the style and voice you want. A keypad lets you choose which song you would like to learn, and those numbers correspond to the songs in the songbook that comes with the keyboard, and these songs are programmed into the listen-and-learn built-in songs. My only complaint with the song book is the notes are printed so tiny I have to squint. I guess they did that to squeeze in the songs on the fewest pages to save printing costs and to keep beginners from having to turn so many pages.

I've had my keyboard a little over a month, and I am already sight-reading and playing Chopin and Beethoven pieces, but I must admit I already had some musical background on a different instrument, and that helped some. But if you want a system where you can be playing a tune the very next day after your package arrives, this is the keyboard for you.

All in all, I love this keyboard.

Now for the downer: all the bad things that other reviewers said about the stand that comes with this keyboard are true -- this stand simply DOES NOT fit this keyboard. If you put your keyboard on top of this stand, your keyboard will slide off and crash to the floor. I knew this before buying and decided I wanted the keyboard anyway. I have to set my keyboard on a separate table, but it is not really the right height for proper keyboard hand position so I have to put pillows in the chair to bring me up to the right height. That's rather pesky.

If it weren't for this ridiculously wrong stand, I would have given this product five stars. What could Yamaha be thinking when they packaged this stand with this keyboard when it CLEARLY does not fit it? I'm amazed a company with as good a reputation in the musical instruments world as Yamaha has would risk their reputation this way. Shame on them for not fixing the problem, now that they know about it. (Numerous buyers have alerted them.)

Now back to the keyboard: I also wish to point out that once I got the hang of the Yamaha lighted keyboard system, which only took a day or two, I also ordered two more things separately. I bought the book offered on Amazon called "How to Play Keyboards" by Roger Evans, and I really learned a lot from this little book (under ten dollars). I'm glad I bought it because he offers some techniques that are a bit more advanced, and he has some great tunes in his instruction book. The book is a paperback and tightly bound so it does not lie flat on the music book stand that comes with your Yamaha, but I use two bean bags to hold my pages down.

The other thing I purchased (from [...]) was Will Barrow's "Learn and Master Piano" instructional package of 14 DVDs, 5 play-along CDs, and a 100-plus page lesson book, This is one amazing instructional method. It's much more advanced than the lighted-key method, but if you want to learn piano in a more complete way, this is one fantastic system. It isn't cheap, but you get a lot for your money. Note that there are one or two spots where your 61-key keyboard will leave you a bit in the lurch, since this system assumes you will be seated in front of 88 keys, but I did not find this to be too pesky, and it did not come up that often. He doesn't start with childish tunes like so many teaching methods do; he gives you Lennon-McCartney tunes, well-known rock piano segments (Lean on Me, Louie Louie, and so on), as well as classical pieces. The video instructor, Will Barrow, comes across as pleasant, knowledgeable, highly professional, and patient (not to mention that he is painfully good-looking, but I digress).

You don't have to buy that extra system to learn to play electronic keyboard; the Yamaha book will give you enough to teach you what you need to know and have you playing tunes in no time. You DO have to practice, though, to become proficient so set aside time to work on your techniques. You can plug in the headphones that come with your Yamaha so you won't disturb other family members while you are learning.

I hope you found my review helpful, and if you get one of these keyboards, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine.

Worth every penny
I bought this as a gift for my partner whom I just learned had always wanted to learn to play a piano. Never had she had the room in her city apartment for a full-size piano. But this keyboard fits nicely in front of the window of our dining room and because it is not bulky, can be easily moved to a larger space for the lessons she has just begun. The Yamaha 200 has the feel and sound of a regular piano, plus other fun options a "real" piano can't offer. The booklet that comes with the Yamaha 200 is useful, too, for someone who has never played. Contrary to some posted comments, the stand has been plenty sturdy. Even the seasoned piano instructor found this instrument quite suitable. So far it's been worth every penny.

Escalator on steroids
I do not own one of these but I so would if I could justify the living space it would take up and the cost. I use it at the local gym every night and it has so much calorie burning power. The downside is you can't just mentally turn off during the workout, you have to know your steps and pace or toes get squashed...

These stairmaster machines are super tall also, would require more than an 8' ceiling because you'd hit your head no doubt. LOVE LOVE LOVE this machine!

Great machine but very expensive
I can't conceive of spending this much money on a cardio machine for home use, but I use this product at the gym and love it. In addition to manual settings, it has several pre-programmed regimens. For each regimen, you can choose an amount of time and a difficulty level from 1 to 20. The interface is user-friendly and flexible, and has all the displays one would expect - calories, distance (in miles and floors), steps per minute, etc.

If you're considering purchasing this machine for your individual use or for your family, my recommendation would be to join a gym that has it, as it is really too expensive to justify a purchase for an individual. I go to 24-Hour and all their locations have these.

Don't believe other reviews
I wouldn't trust any of the 4 positive reviews....all have had solely reviews about watches that say the same thing, mostly about these cartiers....usually when something seems too good to be true it is.

I can't believe the watch has no plastic cover and has scratch on it! It must be a refurbished one or other stuff but not a new one. Compare with my another order, that one looks like new and original. And the only compensate I got just the shipping back fee refund. I really need this watch, but I hestitate to put another order due to the quality of the product. If someone from amazon can pay special attention to my new potiential order, I will do it but it has to be special discount as a compensation.

Amazon is not only an authorized Cartier dealer, but this watch came with full warranty from Amazon as well as Cartier. I saved so much cash that the guys at Cartier were impressed--speaking of Cartier, they were great on the local side of the deal, helped with engraving, and gave no negative treatment because I bought online as opposed to going through their store.
I would encourage anybody to shop Amazon for their next luxury watch.

Best Watch Ever!
I've had this watch for 5 years and it runs great and looks great. I continue to get compliments on it. It's a classic watch...nothing trendy but will never go out of style. Goes with everything. The watch continues to put a smile on my face everyday when I put it on.

Don't Buy High End Watches on Amazon
Anyone shopping for a high end watch should avoid Amazon. The item I purchased arrived and was inoperable. I attempted to return the item and it was immediately shipped back with a notice that Amazon would not take it back claiming there were scratches on the band. After numerous calls to customer service and a flurry of emails, Amazon finally informed me the watch was covered under their warranty program. I had to ship the item to their service center (at my own expense, including the intial shipment to try and return the item) and still I have no working watch for my wife to enjoy. To date I am out the cost of a very expensive watch, and the cost of two separate UPS shipments - including insurance coverage.

If you are thinking of purchasing a watch on Amazon, go directly to the manufacturer. Trust me, it will save you a lot of time, frustration and effort.

big mistake

It was a big mistake to buy a Cartier watch through Amazon.com. The watch stopped working less than a month after I received it. I took it to Cartier to see if the problem was a dead battery. It was not the battery; the battery was fine, it was the watch itself. It cost over 400 dollars for repairs.

Query Cartier watch authenticity from Amazon
I purchased the watch directly from Amazon. The watch seems great and seems real; however I took it to Cartier and they told me they wanted to see the certificate of authenticity, stamped by the seller. The watch came without any certificate, and seemingly without any warranty. I am very troubled.

GREAT PRICE ON A CLASSIC WATCH
was a bit worried about purchasing this watch on amazon, but the price couldnt be beat (over 20% less than at cartier) and amazon is much more reputable than other online hack shops...the watch arrived next day in perfect brand new condition...had my jewler certify and everything is great. Glad I bought it here and saved the cash. BTW, I bought from AMAZON LLC, not one of the other amazon merchants as AMAZON will give you the 2 year guarantee.

Cartier is the absolute best.
My mom bought me a Cartier Santos watch awhile back, and when she wanted a watch for Mother's Day, I decided to return the favor. Amazon had the best price on the Ladies Tank Francaise. I was really nervous about ordering something like this from Amazon because of the warranty issue and the bad review about it arriving broken.

In my opinion, the warranty thing (Amazon warranty replaces manufacturer's warranty) might become a problem, but you're buying a Cartier. I just can't imagine if you got a defective product that Cartier wouldn't back it up. That's part of what you're getting with a well established brand like this.

Mine arrived as scheduled. The outer paper Cartier box looked like it had been opened several times- was pretty creased on the outside. But everything was perfect on the inside, including the actual "jewelry" box. Having bought a Cartier new from an actual jeweler before, it included all the same things. It even comes with some sort of Cartier CD- not sure what's on it.

Also, for anyone who stressed over what size face to get for a woman like I did, there are 2 ladies' sizes- a petite and a midsize. The petite is very small. I have a petite Santos, and it is perfect for me, but I have tiny wrists- like 4.5". My mom is about 5'6, average bone structure, and the midsize tank francaise was the perfect size for her. The petite would have just looked awkward on an average size wrist in my opinion. All of this really comes down to preference, but generally watch faces should be proportional to the wrist/hand size. I was thrilled that I got this one for her.

I hope it continues to work as well as my Cartier watch.

Great, but ...
The case locks are, indeed, TSA approved, the case seems pretty indestructible, as do the locks but . . . My son has a Nike Xtreme element bag, which has a rigid, handle at the top. This makes the bag not only 14 inches at the base but 14 inches at the bottom. While this product is sold as a 4814--i.e., 48 inches long and 14 inches wide, it is definitely NOT 14 inches its entire length. I cannot close the case entirely without forcing it closed, which means putting enough pressure on the bag's semi-flexible aluminum tube (which runs up its side and gives it rigidity) that I was able to close the case. Now, I have to hope that forcing the bag like this won't damage the bag in the long run during flights, because I didn't have sufficient time to send it back before we needed the case. Ugh. Please, more accurate description in model specifications!

SKB 4814W deluxe ATA golf case- GREAT!!!
Loaded my new case with Sun Mountain cart bag full of clubs, balls, rain suit, wind shirt, 2 towels, umbrella, flask, cigars, and all the little accessories, wrapped an extra towel around the heads and flew to Tennessee and back on Southwest. Had to tuck in the side pockets but really easy to do. Weighed in at 48 lbs., 2 lb. under the overweight limit. Probably could have fit shoes but didn't try. Worked most excellent, would recommend highly. Don't try to fit a pro bag though. TSA lock system worked great, they checked it both ways and actually relocked it, WOW!!! Not a mark on the case, 2 people actually asked me about it cause it didn't even show any scuff marks.

Way too small for standard CART bag
I read all the review before ordering. All I can say is most of these folks must have some really, really small cart bags. I tried my wife's bag, my bag, an old and very small cart bag I had. I could not even get them in with every pocket empty. Only our lightweight stand bag would fit. I have two SKB bags that are a hard top with soft bottom that I have been using for years that hold our bags easily. SKB quality is tops though.
