Don't believe other reviews
I wouldn't trust any of the 4 positive reviews....all have had solely reviews about watches that say the same thing, mostly about these cartiers....usually when something seems too good to be true it is.

bought from Amazon as they provide me the excellent service from asking payment question to delivery,reached me just in 2 days by UPS,and the price is 100% unbelievable lower than Cartier shop,at start I am afraid thisi is a fake watch or something,I also bought other 3 Cartier Watches from here,so I took them all to HK Cartier to proof the genuineness,and crew told me they are all 100% authentic,now I am so happy to wear them everyday I go to work!!

Great watch and good delivery service but some confusion about the shipping gimick, want to make sure I am not charged for that at some later date if I don't cancel.

can't believe amazon can do business like this
I can't believe the watch has no plastic cover and has scratch on it! It must be a refurbished one or other stuff but not a new one. Compare with my another order, that one looks like new and original. And the only compensate I got just the shipping back fee refund. I really need this watch, but I hestitate to put another order due to the quality of the product. If someone from amazon can pay special attention to my new potiential order, I will do it but it has to be special discount as a compensation.

I looked around online at various websites for the best price and Amazon was very competitive. what sodl me was their two year warranty versus everyone else's one year warranty. I also received very fast shipping and it came in perfect condition by UPS.

This was a great deal.
I shopped a number of discount watch sites, but most discounters offered no warranty.
Amazon is not only an authorized Cartier dealer, but this watch came with full warranty from Amazon as well as Cartier. I saved so much cash that the guys at Cartier were impressed--speaking of Cartier, they were great on the local side of the deal, helped with engraving, and gave no negative treatment because I bought online as opposed to going through their store.
I would encourage anybody to shop Amazon for their next luxury watch.

Best Watch Ever!
I've had this watch for 5 years and it runs great and looks great. I continue to get compliments on it. It's a classic watch...nothing trendy but will never go out of style. Goes with everything. The watch continues to put a smile on my face everyday when I put it on.

Don't Buy High End Watches on Amazon
Anyone shopping for a high end watch should avoid Amazon. The item I purchased arrived and was inoperable. I attempted to return the item and it was immediately shipped back with a notice that Amazon would not take it back claiming there were scratches on the band. After numerous calls to customer service and a flurry of emails, Amazon finally informed me the watch was covered under their warranty program. I had to ship the item to their service center (at my own expense, including the intial shipment to try and return the item) and still I have no working watch for my wife to enjoy. To date I am out the cost of a very expensive watch, and the cost of two separate UPS shipments - including insurance coverage.

If you are thinking of purchasing a watch on Amazon, go directly to the manufacturer. Trust me, it will save you a lot of time, frustration and effort.

big mistake

It was a big mistake to buy a Cartier watch through Amazon.com. The watch stopped working less than a month after I received it. I took it to Cartier to see if the problem was a dead battery. It was not the battery; the battery was fine, it was the watch itself. It cost over 400 dollars for repairs.

Query Cartier watch authenticity from Amazon
I purchased the watch directly from Amazon. The watch seems great and seems real; however I took it to Cartier and they told me they wanted to see the certificate of authenticity, stamped by the seller. The watch came without any certificate, and seemingly without any warranty. I am very troubled.

GREAT PRICE ON A CLASSIC WATCH
was a bit worried about purchasing this watch on amazon, but the price couldnt be beat (over 20% less than at cartier) and amazon is much more reputable than other online hack shops...the watch arrived next day in perfect brand new condition...had my jewler certify and everything is great. Glad I bought it here and saved the cash. BTW, I bought from AMAZON LLC, not one of the other amazon merchants as AMAZON will give you the 2 year guarantee.

Cartier is the absolute best.
My mom bought me a Cartier Santos watch awhile back, and when she wanted a watch for Mother's Day, I decided to return the favor. Amazon had the best price on the Ladies Tank Francaise. I was really nervous about ordering something like this from Amazon because of the warranty issue and the bad review about it arriving broken.

In my opinion, the warranty thing (Amazon warranty replaces manufacturer's warranty) might become a problem, but you're buying a Cartier. I just can't imagine if you got a defective product that Cartier wouldn't back it up. That's part of what you're getting with a well established brand like this.

Mine arrived as scheduled. The outer paper Cartier box looked like it had been opened several times- was pretty creased on the outside. But everything was perfect on the inside, including the actual "jewelry" box. Having bought a Cartier new from an actual jeweler before, it included all the same things. It even comes with some sort of Cartier CD- not sure what's on it.

Also, for anyone who stressed over what size face to get for a woman like I did, there are 2 ladies' sizes- a petite and a midsize. The petite is very small. I have a petite Santos, and it is perfect for me, but I have tiny wrists- like 4.5". My mom is about 5'6, average bone structure, and the midsize tank francaise was the perfect size for her. The petite would have just looked awkward on an average size wrist in my opinion. All of this really comes down to preference, but generally watch faces should be proportional to the wrist/hand size. I was thrilled that I got this one for her.

I hope it continues to work as well as my Cartier watch.

This was the best deal that anyone ever could have gotten on a Cartier watch. I went to my local place that carried Cartier watches and tried it on before I ordered it on amazon (because I could only see a picture) and they wanted 00.00+NYS tax. So I got this for 00.00 LESS =) on AMAZIN awesome!!! Had to do it I got it for 99.00 TOTAL!!!

Awesome Deal for a Brand New Woman's Cartier Watch. I searched for a long time to beat this price. Couldn't find a better total deal.

It isn't good quality.
I bought a Cartier Women's Tank Francaise Stainless Steel Watch #W51008Q3 on Jan.2,2010. This watch didn't work normally: It sometimes stopped , and often didn't run exactly, so I think it isn't worth the expensive price.

I bought this watch for my girlfriend and she loves it. Took it to the Cartier boutique to have it sized and it is perfect. I don't know why the person from the previous post could not get service, but if you go to the boutique, they will service it.

Only buy from authorized dealer
I got this watch from Amazon as a gift from my husband a few months ago. Last month, we found that there was a 0-400 problem with the circuitry. Our watch store told us to have the repair fixed under the warranty. I called Amazon with the gift receipt in hand but I did not have the exact price so they refused to honor the warranty. I don't know how you can have the exact price if you get the watch as a gift. My husband found his original receipt but Amazon refused to honor the warranty when he called with all the required information. He just got the run around on line in India for 20 minutes . It is not worth it. Buy from an authorized dealer.

Yes, this is a grey market watch, meaning only that Amazon is not an authorized dealer. It's also a great price on the real deal (and the serial number wasn't removed despite some commentary about this in some of the forums), with all brand new Cartier packaging, etc. You can't beat the price; this was less even than several used Tank Francaises I looked at. If you want to pay full price, go ahead, but this is a great deal on the real thing, with an Amazon two year warranty instead of Cartier. That is the ONLY difference. Also fast shipping. I ordered at 6 PM and it was waiting for me in my office the very next morning when I arrived at 9 AM. That's service!

It's real and it's magnificent!
This is a beautiful watch that has become a classic just like the tank watch. I bought this on a whim and checked prices on the web. The price I paid seemed very reasonable and certainly much less than what I would have paid at Cartier at my local mall. The primary reason I purchased this watch from Amazon is that I knew I would be getting a "real" Cartier from a trusted source. It arrived the next day and my wife was like "what's this? Why?" I just smiled and said because I love you.
