In this Spring Weather If it has been raining hard for several hours, or steadily raining for several days, be alert to the possibility of flooding.
You should stock your home with supplies that may be needed during the emergency period. At a minimum, these supplies should include:

- Food : A 3-5 day supply of non-perishable food, easy-to-prepare food and a non-electric can opener.

- A first aid kit and manual and prescription medicines and special medical needs.

- Flashlights

- Battery-powered or hand-crank radio (NOAA Weather Radio, if possible)

- Sleeping bags

- Water-purifying supplies, such as chlorine or iodine tablets or unscented, ordinary household chlorine bleach.
